Dear Friends of Vallejo Juneteenth:

The African American Family Reunion Committee would like to THANK YOU - our sponsors, community partners, exhibitors, vendors, and volunteers for your generous support in making Vallejo’s 32nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration a great success!

After a two year pause due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and the recognition of Juneteenth as a federal holiday in 2021, we were determined to bring the festival back to the community to increase awareness of the significance of Juneteenth in our nation’s history. The celebration gave visitors a chance to see family and friends after being apart for more than two years. Although many vendors and exhibitors were still suffering from the lingering effect of COVID-19 and could not join us this year, we were able to feature nearly 60 exhibitors and vendors who provided consumer information, education and job training resources, access to health and wellness services, financial wealth building opportunities, quality unique merchandise, and many more attractions in a festive family friendly environment. Your participation was critical to this endeavor and helped contribute to making Juneteenth a cultural celebration for the Vallejo community where all residents can live a better quality of life and thrive

.

Please mark your calendar for the 2023 celebration on Saturday, June 17. We look forward to your participation/support and will contact you as the event approaches.

Sincerely,

Gwendolyn White, President

African American Family Reunion Committee
